My Advantage+ ad is showing another brand's products
This has happened twice already. I'm part of an agency that sets up ads for different brands, but in both cases, the products that appeared in the product ad itself were not managed by my agency. So, let's say we have Coca Cola Advantage+ ads and when they appear to clients, they see the correct text, the correct account, but the visible product is a from a random baby car seat brand.
In one case, we have set up ads for a skincare brand and suddenly, a customer reported that they saw the ad with products from a pottery brand. In the other case, we have ads set up for a garden center (selling garden equipment) and we've received a screenshot for car equipment. As an agency, we don't manage the pottery brand, nor the car equipment. Important to note:
- Partnership ads are off;
- Multi-advertiser ads is off;
- Product set contains products and Shopify link is working;
- Wrong products that are shown are NOT visible in Meta Commerce Manager, nor were they ever uploaded on (our) Shopify;
- Turned off: Shop, Browser add-ons
- Turned off: Include other products from your catalog
Anyone has had this happen as well? How did you handle this?
