Hi I had intense body surgery. Amazon denied my accommodation as well as my STD (which I don’t understand). Can someone explain this to me??

Hi, I need advice. I had intensive surgery and asked higher ups before I had it and they said I should be more than enough qualified to be on accommodation while also coming back to work (specifically on a battery or computer desk for my site). My surgeon filled out MULTIPLE things of paper work and I have ALL that I need. I was never approved or denied for STD but I need money so I decided to ask my surgeon to let me back in 2 weeks (with accommodation obviously) and my site denied it and stated that there’s was “no open spots” for my accommodation. Now tell me how tf is there no open spots but half the time there’s 1 person at the battery desk and there’s only 2 people at the spot of 10 computers? How is it full? My coworkers suggested going in one day to talk to the site/operations manager since some of them have had their accommodation denials revised. Just seems like bs to cut costs..
