Help identifying an old keepsake
My dad left me and my brother two rings, one is his dads class ring and the other is this one, I know it’s ten karat gold but am at a loss for what the stone could be, as well as origins sadly dad never got to tell me or my brother where his dad got this ring other than he worked for a company for a really long time and they gave him this. Obviously I don’t expect anyone to do serious research on the ring. But would love to know what the stone is? I was thinking opal maybe?
