Reasons of expectations

• Director's 8 yrs of sangharsh in script dvlpment.
• Akshaye reputation of excellent script choices in recent past films.
• Also Dia said during teaser launch that she rescheduled her work just to be part of this film. (her part was good enough so from her POV she is right)
• Prev body of work of Director- both Hichki and Maharaja r appreciated.

• u/Ok_Perspective_971 Makers are really that stupid to reveal the suspense in trailer itself & i feel stupid to have had expected something new from them.😮‍💨
• u/xanderneuer U were right about the apprehensions u had about the character. 💯 . (I would've added that SS. But I don't want fellow fans to misunderstand u and attack u ) Also it's sad how a heinous crime like rape/ sexual assault was dealt as mere plot device in the movie
• Some grp members' concern about Ak role length were right. I thought unnecessary anxiety hai especially after the Dir reassured AK is there in whole movie. Bhai baithane ke liye bulaya kya AK ko !? It's like a Cricket player 🏏being selected in 15 but given no chance in playing XI. Just like how cameraman pans towards them during breaks for their reactions. In the courtroom , AK was just to give reactions -look angry,surprised, frustrated....He is Wasted !

I think general audience would like the film more as they would go w/o expectations , w/o having their fav featuring in it, w/o dissecting trailer/dir. interviews. Its a Decent one time watch. Just that we expected better

• Why was Shaurya debarred from practicing law? No explanation given. Gf ko pregnant karke chodd diya isliye . Heh !?
• Tillotama ko fracture kaise hua ? All this seems to be just a setup for that ''Dhai kilo ka haath'' dialogue 💪 . Dir ,I understand u r a big Sunny Deol fan but u need to stop glazing him. U already ruined the film in that process.Its a Sunny show all the way!
• Were Gauri & Shaurya in an open marriage ? She was indifferent & rather relaxed upon Shaurya's revelation on phone call when Shaurya confided that he was with Shoma. But Gauri stormed out disappointed when Shaurya revealed the same in the court during opening arguments .Was it part of the set up. No it can't be becoz Pillai (witness) came forward later on not on the 1st day. Also, she kinda flirted with Arjun at the end . If not why was the scene added. What did it imply ? Sanjeeda's character is so halfbaked. Simple tweaks could have made it so interesting

Masaledar dialogues 🌶️ par yeh kashmiri masala hai (just for colour) tikka masala nahi.

• ''Tu Mujhe humesha kamzor samjahta hai ,ek loser '' - Kyu, Kab ,kaise, kidhar ? Backstory ,kuch toh. Gives us smthing
• "Isliye duniya tujhe Ram kehti hai aur mujhe Raavan" When I heard this statement in trailer I thought it held some gravitas .but Explanation given in movie - Arjun married Shaurya's ex GF. Huh toh kya hua ? Bro u weren't marrying your knocked up GF , Arjun did and brought up your daughter as his own. Isme Raavan kya !? Agar Sunny corrupt hota immoral hota case se pehle , etc toh yeh dialogue suit karta .
• "'Galti kar Sakta hun Gunnah nahi''. Maybe Galti = cheating, being promiscuous. Gunnah = murder. Ig he didn't want to kill her. He did seem aghast when he sees her blood & how seriously she is injured.But then he makes his servant kill the beggar eyewitness 😵‍💫 So that is a Gunnah. Dialogue doesnt make sense.

Basically all dialogues r storm in a teacup. Phus 🎈
