Over the last few weeks I started adding 20 grams of collagen to my diet.

Aside from improved skin, and reduction in joint pain and inflammation, I am noticing my lifts in the gym are improving. I’m able to progress on the weight I’m using for each exercise.

I reduced my protein intake by 20 grams when I added in the collagen so the ratios are the same.

It’s helped me overcome plateaus I’ve been struggling with.

I just wanted to understand what the mechanism is that makes collagen so effective. Any guesses would be appreciated! Maybe you might have a similar story?
