Dropper post is feeling sticky at times and makes a little grinding noise. I tried lubricating the post as an emergency treatment but it didnt help much.

The dropper in question is what came with the bike, haibike the seatpost ++

I cant find any service kits for it from internet, so should I keep searching or would it be best to just get a replacement? If so any recommendations on what would be a not too expensive but good value for money option?

The time of my rear suspension service nears. I assume the service costs atleast 50e and I've seen new same model shocks for around the same price so im naturally tempted to just ride the old one until it doesnt work properly and then just install a new one.

Is there some hidden cost im not seeing, like some "only a shop can set some initial tune correctly" or similar?

Rockshox deluxe select+ in question.
