Hey all, so as the title says, I have this weird wound on my areola literally right beside my nipple. It started about 2 months ago with some "skin" on my areola peeling. My first instinct was to scratch it and liquid came out of the scratch. After about a minute or so I noticed it getting itchier and itchier, and when I took a look at it, it got inflamed and ballooned up. The wound "heals" but it doesn't fully disappear. Whenever I take a bath, it balloons up too. Hard skin forms over the surface but when it gets scratched it balloons up all over again with some liquid coming out of it. I'm starting to get worried as it's half as tall as my nipple already when it balloons up.
I have tried using ointments and such as it might be just due to my skin asthma/eczema but it hasn't worked yet. If anyone has encountered the same problem, I would appreciate some advice.
Should I get examined for this?
