FATAL ERROR crash on launch on AMD hardware with latest drivers - anyone have a solution?
I played this on PS5, then I played it via gamepass. Finally decided to buy it, but now, it is not launching whatsoever - fatal error on starting a new game with no further info.
9700k@4.6GHZ
7900XTX Nitr0+
32GB of DDR4 RAM @ 3600MHz
Installed on an nVme SSD.
OS: Kubuntu LTS 24.04 - Kernel 7.0.0.28/ MESA 26.2.0
Any Proton version crashes the same way.
System ran the game before with zero issues or crashes, and with mods. Last time I played was, I think, version 1.3 or 1.4 or something?
I looked around and saw some people crashing on Win 10 and 11 the same way, too, but no solutions. Anyone had this happen?
