The show really struck gold with D.B. Woodside for Amenadiel. Obviously his comedic acting during and after his “fall” with being a fish out of water on Earth is a highlight, but I also want to point out his non verbal.
That entire 15+ seconds from this frame until Chloe looks up, he just uses his eyes to do the talking, with a slight nod after the 3rd cut back to him.
The entire scene in general is awesome though, with German nailing the realization. But it does make you think how much worse this and other scenes could have been with a lesser actor.
