A little while ago, I made a post here asking if anyone might have an old laptop they no longer needed for a close friend of mine.

He had been working hard to transition into data analytics and data science, taking online courses, building projects, and applying for internships. Unfortunately, his laptop was stolen, putting a pretty big setback in the middle of that journey.

I honestly didn't know if anyone would respond, but Mr. George reached out and generously donated his spare laptop to him.

I can't properly express how much this means. it has given my friend the ability to get back to learning, practicing, applying, and moving forward.

George, thank you. Truly. You helped someone you didn't even know simply because you could, and that kindness won't be forgotten.

And to everyone else who commented, shared the post, sent DM messages, or offered suggestions - thank you as well. This community reminded me that there are still people willing to step up and help someone get another chance.

I've been thinking about something after Season 3 The Vampire Lestat.

We know Lestat has some abilities that other vampires don't, like flying, which comes from the ancient blood Akasha

But then we saw Louis create fire. So does that mean Louis inherited some of the ancient blood's powers as well? If so, maybe Lestat isn't the only one carrying unique gifts from that bloodline.

For those who've read the books (without major spoilers if possible 😅), are there other ancient vampires or bloodlines we should be watching for in Queen of the Damned? Could we see more powerful abilities?

I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.

A close friend of mine graduated with an Economics degree from KNUST a few years ago but has struggled to secure employment. To help him transition into tech, I bought him a laptop a few months ago so he could start learning Data Analytics, Data Science, and research skills.

He's been working through several online courses, building his skills, and actively applying for remote internships.

Unfortunately, he was recently robbed, and the laptop was stolen.

I'm not asking for money. I'm simply wondering if anyone has an old laptop they're no longer using that they'd be willing to donate or sell at a very low cost. It doesn't need to be powerful—just enough for Python, Excel, SQL, Power BI, and online learning.

If anyone also knows of entry-level internships or volunteer opportunities in data analytics, data science, or research, I'd really appreciate any leads. He's hardworking, eager to learn, and determined to build a career despite the setbacks.
