How to handle New Piercings
I've seen a lot of posts regarding facial piercings and already plan to take them out and cover them up for headshots and auditions once I'm able to.
However, I have a bit of a different situation on my hands.
I was actively acting for a couple of years and did a few plays and had a few minor film roles. I took a couple of years of break due to location and working overtime, but for a couple of months I'll have a ton of free time and wanted to get back into acting.
Since then my looks have changed a bit, and I need new headshots. That said, I'm also getting new piercings, and will be unable to remove them for at least two months so that they can heal properly.
My options are essentially to get headshots with the piercings and use those for a couple of months, then once the piercings heal get new headshots with them removed. Or I can essentially just wait and not audition for anything until the piercings are healed.
What are y'all's opinions on this?
