Uplift desk cable management
I wanted to create a more robust cord management channel for the Uplift V2 desk, especially considering the metal bar at the back does not give a good spot for mounting. The cable routing they provide is open at the back, and while you can cable manage with velcro, it still leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.
Therefore, I created this. This organizer has multiple areas where you can attach velcro straps to (long ovals) holes for power plugs, and USB cables on either side (this would be for the power cables to the motors for the desk) and slots for routing cables up to the desk. It fits relatively well, but does need some spacers for the slim metal bars at the top. This is currently a screwed in model, but with enough 3M sticky tape I think I could get it to stay.
The only thing I need to account for is a power transformer block, as some of those could get pretty large (around 100 mm / 4 inches) which would make it a bit taller. The individual cable routing slots on the angled size are 8mm. Is there anything else I should account for? Is there something essential I am missing? Give me your edge cases!
