A few days ago I shared some work-in-progress photos after many of you asked how the costume was made. I was genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness and enthusiasm you showed.
This is the completed costume I wore for a theatrical performance inspired by Cersei, and it recently won first place in a cosplay competition here in Italy.
Every part of the costume was handmade, from drafting the patterns and sewing the garments to painting the details and building the accessories.
Thank you again for all the incredible support you’ve shown over the past few days. Reading your comments has been one of the most rewarding parts of sharing this project.

I don’t play characters. I disappear into them.
For me, cosplay has never been simply about wearing a costume. It’s that strange moment when I look in the mirror and, for a second, I don’t see myself anymore.
Every character here has a different story, and every one of them left something with me.
So I put some of those transformations together. ❤️
Which one is your favorite?

Many of you were curious about the construction, the sleeves and the embroidery, so I wanted to share a few photos from the making process.
Reading your comments and answering your questions on my previous post was genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of sharing this costume. Thank you all for the incredible support and kindness.

Hi everyone!
I recently finished recreating Cersei Lannister’s blue kimono from the early seasons of Game of Thrones for a theatrical performance.
Everything was handmade, from drafting the patterns to sewing the garment, painting the cherry blossom details, and building the oversized sleeves. My goal wasn’t just to reproduce the costume, but to capture the elegance and presence Cersei had in those scenes.
I’d love to know what you think, especially if you notice any details I could improve for an even more screen-accurate version.

I made all three costumes myself for a stage performance. The blue kimono was probably the most challenging part because I wanted the sleeves to keep their angular shape instead of collapsing into a rounded one.
