I don’t recall this being a trope that g3 has really abused in the past, but I think it’s kinda cringe and anime-esque how many times he could have yoinked Cassie’s other eye if only he’d stop monologuing and throwin constant last minute defeat flags.

He’s already made it utterly clear that he could incapacitate her in a heartbeat, but no… it’s more preferable to stand here and talk shit while you complete your apotheosis and execute your comeback plan via your new supreme aspect ability.
