On my older farms I always ended up clearing basically everything. Trees gone, grass gone, every empty spot eventually turned into crops, machines, or some perfectly squared-off area

This time I’ve been leaving random patches alone. A few trees behind the barn, grass around the pond, weird little paths that aren’t perfectly efficient. The farm is definitely less optimized, but it actually feels like a farm instead of a giant production floor
