I played so much Stardew Valley, I decided to make a blanket made out of its characters. Elliott was the first one to be made 😊

Today for the first time I built a new fence after moving the barn and coop. As I had more gates before than needed now I accidentally placed two besides each other.
So I was today years old when I learned you can build large gates while I owned my copy of Stardew Valley for almost 10 years.
then i saw him come walking out of my crops, lay down and continue to live his life to fullest by sleeping. lucky him.
(edit: just to clarify, i thought the broken fence was some weird front view of my cat sleeping, until i saw my actual cat 😭)

Besides the well-known trick of placing a reference keg outside as a timer, I recently found that using a Wood Sign to track the exact number of kegs helps a lot.
Before heading inside, I grab the precise amount of crops needed. As long as I leave the room with exactly one crop left in my hand (for the timer keg outside), I know I haven't missed a single keg.
This works no matter if you're brewing inside a shed or down in the tunnel.
Pretty sure many of you already do this, but I wanted to share anyway. 👍🏼
Can you guys recommend some games that are similar or very alike to SDV please? I’m trying to get back into my main save and started a new save but I’ve just not got it in me atm, so just want something fresh to get me excited again 🤞🏻

This is my first play thru and this good for nothing crumbs-licker junkyard dog is trying to use me to give my girlfriend a gift from his part, like, what the actual duck, he's so miserable... I think I'm no longer mad, I think I feel bad for his pathetic ass. Is there a problem w/ the story of I ignore him?
Do you think it's a good idea to let my little sister marry a Stardew Valley character? She's 9, but she's really like Alex, She saw that I'm married to Elliott and told me she wanted that too, but I'm not sure if I should tell her a harmless lie or let her do whatever she wants... She has really spent a lot of time raising hearts with him...I mean dialogue during kissing scenes, or some kind of innuendo(? I've never married Alex, so I don't know what to expect from him HAHA sorryyy
Why is he standing there like this? Is it his way of saying goodbye? I'm on year 4, will he someday just die from old age??

I know I don’t really talk to anyone on here, but I just wanted to share my little farm and say how much this game has honestly meant to me lately.
I’m a mom to a 2 and a half year old and this has genuinely been one of the hardest times in my life. Between a horrible pregnancy, a really hard postpartum, ongoing health issues and dealing with possible precancerous cells for the past couple years, I feel like the stress has just taken so much out of me. It’s gotten to the point where my hair is falling out and I don’t even feel like myself anymore.
And honestly, one of the only things I look forward to lately is 7:30 at night when I get to sit down, turn on my Xbox and go take care of my little farm 😭😂🌱
I love how much there is to this game. I’ve been playing for weeks and I swear I learn something new almost every single day. There’s always something else to discover and it’s just so cool how much detail went into this game.
I know it probably sounds silly to say a little farming game has brought me so much peace but when life feels really heavy sometimes you just need something to escape to for a little while.
Life is just so hard right now. So yeah, I’m just really thankful for Stardew Valley and this community…💚🌻
