The night was far too bright for the liking of the conspirator. He weaved past the sleepy guards and the barriers, right to the lectern of the Governor, where she would stand and except her election tomorrow. As silently as he could, the conspirator crawled under the temporary platform, his heart beating wildly. He quietly opened his bag, extracting three cylindrical items of similar size, and using tape he had already pre-cut, fastened these items to the floor of the platform. They were, of course, pipe bombs which the nameless conspirator had created himself.
