I'm a woman born in Maine and has lived in Maine my entire life.
What was done to her was done to me. The parallels zapped me back to the night an ex arrived drunk at my door. The first thought was...is he okay? As I reached into the cabinet to get him a glass of water, he ripped my pants down, chased me around my apartment, and had did everything but while I tried to calm him down. - To the men who hate us, hate feels terrible, try not to.

I didn't scream, call the police, or make him leave. My one and only thought when he was trying to force me to be with him was....is he going to hurt someone else if I make him drive off.
Edit: Women, We Know It's THEM.
