I know this is super common at Disneyland but I just rode Mr Toad with my family and saw custodial come up with a vacuum as we were waiting to load onto the ride and shut the main doors behind them. A tagged car came by with visible ashes in the bottom and the worker loading let us know that someone had just dumped ashes on the ride and that they were cycling us out so that they could vacuum them up.

Like I said, I've heard of this happening, but have never seen it myself. It was just crazy to actually see the ashes and see them along the floor of the ride as we went and on the edge of the fountain as you exit the bar scene. Anvone else ever see this firsthand as well? Wild to witness.

I believe they just showed Zach Galifianakis in the crowd at the Switzerland-Algeria World Cup game wearing a Max Fun rocket ship hat.

Does Bullseye's NPR arrangement include any right-of-refusal for ads? I was catching up and was disappointed to hear an ad for some AI business BS (Dataiku) attached to the Ann Wilson interview.

Just a really funny one, especially with Jordan on as a guest.

The plaintiff says her partner places items like iPads and ceramic dishes too close to the edge of tables and counters. It makes her nervous! But the defendant says he's actually saving himself some time by doing this. These flatter items are easier to grab when they are on the edge.

Gimme those titles!

As a fellow amateur ornithologist I really enjoyed the mailbag letter about Utah’s state bird. The state songbird/gamebird/bird of prey categories are bad qualifiers. A state bird should simply be the endemic bird species that is most prevalent or associated with the state, there are hundreds of species to pick from that would eliminate doubles. Rhode Island’s state bird is a domestic chicken despite it being the “Ocean State” where Osprey and shorebirds are everywhere in the Summer and a whole list of rare sea ducks in the winter. A more suitable wild bird should be the obvious choice. The history of the chicken is neat but overlooks the natural avian residents that are actually interesting beyond colonial farming practices. Anyway I guess a whole episode settling bird law would be a lot of fun (for me)..
