Let's settle this. My wife doesn't agree with me. What is it?
Musikfest Non Alcoholic Beer
With Musikfest kicking off tonight, has anyone seen any places offering NA beer as a mug fill option? I don’t consume alcohol anymore as a part of my harm reduction, but I enjoy the occasional NA beer as a replacement.
2023 F150 3.5 Powerboost Full Hybrid Oil Minder short life
2023 F150 3.5 Full Hybrid with 71k miles. I purchased the truck from Ford with 68k on the clock. Dealership did a full oil change and reset oil minder. I drive around 50 miles a day round trip for work, almost all highway, right hand lane with adaptive cruise at or just above the speed limit.
Less than 1,500 miles after buying truck, oil minder is at 9%. Brought it back to dealership for oil change, full reset etc.
1,900 miles and the minder is at 12%. Both times the tech said that the oil was “the color of medium dark maple syrup, no grittiness, no burnt smell, mostly clear”
Previous owner did all services at their local dealership, so service records are solid, oil changes approx every 5-6k.
Only info I have about the previous owner is the service record and that they did tow a boat (the dealership left a Great Lakes Marina parking sticker on the window)
I am a bit paranoid about this because this truck replaced a 2020 Ram EcoDiesel that decided it wanted to eat its own bearings at 65k (unknown service history, I did my two oil changes at Dodge because of the picky nature of the EcoDiesel).
Am I fine to ignore the “Intelligent Oil Life Monitoring System” or am I justified in bringing it back to the dealership for my free oil changes every time it trips?
