Is security still super quick these days? I have a 4:00 flight, what time should I arrive?

I wanted to share a little thrift shop in Bethlehem that I feel like more people should know about. Better Buy Thrift Shop is tucked away in the basement of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity on Wyandotte Street, so it’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there.
When I visited, there were barely any people there, which made me wonder how many locals even know about it! They have affordable secondhand items, including clothing and household goods, and it’s worth checking out if you enjoy thrifting and finding bargains.

Wednesday–Friday: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Just wanted to put it on people’s radar in case anyone nearby is looking for a new place to thrift!

A lot of my fall activities that I signed up for back in August are coming to an end. Are there any winter activities I can sign up for? At the present I have no preference and I am pretty open to anything. I am a 27 year old woman.

Ever since I was diagnosed with prediabetes, my grocery bill has skyrocketed. All me and my sister buy are fruits, vegetables, chicken and sugar-free / unsalted cooking ingredients and we are suffering! We're spending between $80 and $120 per WEEK on groceries! Does anyone know of a place that sells these things for less? Everything at GIANT costs $9.99 and I swear Walmart charges you twice as much to have things delivered.

A few friends and I are putting together a night in December with house, Jersey club, baile funk, and whatever else gets people moving. Small venue, low lighting, DJs on the floor with everyone around the decks. Going for that Boiler Room energy.

We already have around 70 people on our invite list, but we want to meet more people outside our circles who are into this music. We want that feeling of being in a crowd where you don’t know everyone and can just let loose, dance, and enjoy yourself.

We’re organizing it ourselves and aiming for around $20 to cover the space and costs. If people are into it, we’d love to make it a regular thing. I’m also planning a few smaller sets leading up to December to get people together.

Would anyone here be interested? What artists or sounds would you want to hear?

Usually, my family goes to the Blue Bell Inn in Blue Bell, PA for Thanksgiving dinner--the food is excellent, the drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is top notch (highly recommend). This year, I'm looking for something different and maybe a little closer to home in the Lehigh Valley--we have a large party 14-16 people. Any suggestions? I really would like to avoid "stuffy" places and am more interested in modern, hip environments. No buffets. We have a lot of 20-30 somethings in our group.

My younger sister recently turned 16 years old. She was born with a genetic condition, and within the past year, was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer. For context, this seems to be something we can handle long term, which is a blessing.

Unfortunately, she is no stranger to bullying. This year, we decided it would be best to help her finish her education online. Additionally, I am now attending college, which is a huge change for her as well.

Maintaining a social life is incredibly important for all aspects of one's health, and she deserves a support system of some sort, so we are researching things we could involve her in to connect with others. We are from Easton, and nearby options would be highly preferred since our single mom has a busy work schedule, but a small commute every now and then could be just fine.

My sister is compromised in her abilities to be very active. Additionally, she is intellectually behind in some ways, but still mature and 16 years old, so I want her to feel like she is surrounded by people she can relate to as much as possible. She has mentioned a bowling league would be fun, so we are looking into options. She also enjoys taking care of baby dolls, painting or doing other hands on crafts, listening to music, etc, but honestly, she would enjoy anything with some good company.

Any local recommendations for inclusive community involvement for teens would be greatly appreciated.
