My (24f) fiancé (28m) has testicular cancer. Has anyone else gone through this? What should we expect?
Hello, as the title says I am his fiancé making this post.
To keep it as short as possible I will list what he’s currently been diagnosed with and what our next steps are.
My fiancé had a right testicle 77g, 5.5cm pure seminoma tumor extracted and his spermatic cord as well.
When they tested it, it was just limited to the testis and hasn’t gone into the spermatic cord.
He’s been pathologically diagnosed as pT1b but we’re currently waiting on a clinical diagnoses.
He has 4 left lower lobe pulmonary nodules that he will be getting a biopsy on tomorrow measuring 5x8mm, 8x4mm, 3mm, and 11x18mm.
His oncologist says he’s not too concerned about them but with his prior surgeries on a varicose vein in his left testicle I know there is a possibility that testicle cancer can skip the back and go straight to the lungs.
We’re mainly wondering if anyone else has gone through this? What we should prepare for in the future if he has to go through BEP treatment? And if anyone has experienced these symptoms as well and it turned out to be testicle cancer in the lungs?
