Looking for a wattpad story about a girl chosen as king's bride
Honestly... It's probably deleted. I've been trying so hard to find it! It's an old one.
But basically the plot is abt a large group of girls is brought to a castle/palace for a powerful, scary king to choose one as his bride. The main girl is a commoner with an asian name. she gets chosen by the king. The king is cold and distant at first, but it's a slow burn romance as he gradually falls for her. She was scared of him at the beginning.
It's a fictional asian-inspired world (not real asia). The characters wore a fusion of hanbok and Chinese-style clothing (if i am not mistaken).
I remember in one of the scenes, the king leaves the castle and assigns his female bodyguard to protect the bride. While he is away, an enemy sneaks into the castle and attacks. The bodyguard fights to protect the bride but gets her arm cut off in the process.
