AITA for not letting coworker take credit
I just started a new job as a recruiter a few weeks ago. There is only one other recruiter at the company and in order to keep track of who is reaching out to which candidates/which jobs we have a spreadsheet. She has put each of our names by the jobs we are working. The issue is that she has asked me to do some stuff on her roles. I have found candidates and set them up with interviews. I added her name/my name to the role because I am working them as well. She went in and removed my name. This is what our boss sees to track progress. The roles I have been assigned are very difficult and slow and therefore it looks like I have made no progress and she has made a ton when in reality I have done a lot of that work. Am I the asshole for adding my name to it? Should I have just stuck with her name? She has been at the company for a couple years so I feel like maybe I should just let it go and defer but I want credit for my work.
