Notes for watching this list.
You watch the defenders after Endgame because they have nothing to do with the narrative story until Spider-Man No Way Home and watching them at this point takes you back down to street level marvel which is under appreciated in movie and tv show media for marvel. It also lets their stories sink in to your head before seeing them again after a while.
Once you are done that you go watch projects starting from Spider-Man Far From Home till the end of Loki Season 1. That’s when the multiverse is introduced and you go back to watch the legacy movies and movies outside of the MCU that came out before Loki season 1 such as FOX X-Men, FOX FF, Tobey Spider-Man, Venom etc…
Once you are done watching all those movies that came out before Loki season 1 you watch every MARVEL project that has came out since no matter what universe they’re in, in release order. For example The New Mutants, Let There Be Carnage, Morbius , Kraven etc… (even though most of them are really bad)
Now things you can leave out imo
I truly believe you can leave out Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D and any animated project such as WHAT IF, MARVEL ZOMBIES, X-MEN’97, the Spidey-Verse movies etc…
I really enjoy the animated projects and I’ve heard good stuff from both shows but I don’t think the animated projects will have anything to do with the overarching story of the extended MCU and the tv show’s convolute the story too much.
I also was thinking about taking out the 2003 hulk, Ghost Rider movies, the Punisher movies and the Fantastic Four 2015 reboot.. Lmk how you guys feel about that
