Which Mobile Plan Is The Best For Me?

So I’m working my first job making $800 monthly while school is in session, that number will increase significantly when school is out of session.

Anyways, I was considering purchasing the T-Mobile Experience More plan. It’s about $85-90, post tax closer to $90-95 monthly. It offers unlimited 5G call, text, and data. Another nice feature which I was considering was the option to trade in your phone every two years to upgrade with the caveat that it locks you into them. There’s other subscription services that are included in the plan like Apple TV for just $3, and Standard Netflix on them.

A major thing I was considering was the trade-in part. My current iPhone has a few hardware issues that make it annoying to use, so I figured it’s been time for an upgrade.

However, it’s pretty expensive I would say, but considering it’s my only “bill” at 16, and that the advertised $85 covers phone financing for $40, it seemed appealing.

Are there any other options I should look at, or should I just get the Experience More?

Thanks!

i am a 17 year old male with a 3.8gpa coming from a single parent household. my mother is the sole provider (granted there is help from extended family, who make well over 300k a year) making $50k a year.

i intended on going to a four year for psychology and then to medical school for an mD to become a psychiatrist.

i understand that i would obviously need to take out student loans and apply for any financial aid/scholarships possible, but somewhere down the line i doubted the possibility.

given my current situation, am i likely to become a psychiatrist and have my plans go accordingly? or should i step back and settle for something less in the hopes that maybe i wasn’t the generation wealth would come down upon.
