Working in IT got me deeper into workflow automation

Hey all! I work in IT operations/infrastructure and have been spending more time building workflow and process automations both at work and outside of work, so I wanted to start documenting and sharing more of what I build and learn along the way.

I’ve been working with tools like Workato, n8n, Okta Workflows, Power Automate, Slack Workflows, and Claude, and I’m looking forward to experimenting with even more tools and integrations.

I’ll mainly be sharing workflow ideas, automations, process improvement concepts, and projects I build while continuing to learn more in this space.

Would also love to connect with others interested in automation or low-code workflows. I’ll also be documenting some of this on IG: @sheautomated

In need of dermatology advice after moving to a humid state

Hi,
Ever since I moved to Miami about 9 months ago, I’ve been dealing with skin issues I’ve never had in my entire life living in the Northeast. I’m getting eczema on my hands, irritation rashes and texture issues around my eyes, temples, and neck, plus random dark irritated patches on my chest, arms, and neck. The texture in those areas feels rough, and everything is extremely itchy.

It’s gotten to the point where I wake up in the middle of the night itching or feel uncomfortable during my 9–5 just wearing clothes. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

I’ve tried cortisone creams, saw a dermatologist who basically just prescribed stronger steroids without giving much advice, started wearing looser clothing to help with airflow, and I shower twice a day. I also tried Claritin in case it was allergy-related, but it didn’t really help.

At this point I’m really at my wit’s end. Has anyone else experienced this after moving to Miami/Florida or a more humid climate? Any advice, things that helped, or recommendations for a dermatologist in the area who actually takes the time to listen and help would mean a lot. Thank you so much in advance. 🙏🏾
