Roommate stole my clothes
I'm living with a lady with 3 daughters. Yesterday I've washed a recently bought, never-worn shirt of mine in the bathroom to dry and when I woke up this morning it was gone. Reasonable assumption was that one of her daughters took it by accident thinking it was theirs so when the lady came home, I politely asked about it but she was already denying it before even hearing what I had to say before asking her daughters. 2/3 of her daughters could wear that shirt and no one else could have took it. Worse because they hid all their dirty clothes (which they normally keep in the bathroom) as if I might steal them. Any advice to show them not to mess with me because they're definitely the type to keep doing it.
PS: The landlord won't care about anything so long as rent gets paid.
