Is Med sci at western a good non med program?

Hey everyone, I am currently unsure whether or not I want to go into med school in the future. I think i might want to do something in a field like neuroscience or psychology instead. Would med sci still be a good program for something like that?

Western Med Sci vs Guelph Neurosci

Hey guys, I need help. I was committed to guelph neurosci but I recently got an offer to western med sci and now I have no idea what to do. Western Med sci & Guelph students/graduates any advice would be appreciated!

For context, Im not certain of what I want to do in the future, I plan to apply to med school in yr 2 and 3, but if I go into med, I'm set on Mac Med. I've been enjoying neuroscience, but that is something I discovered just this year and my knowledge is based on my prep for the HOSA behavioural science competition. As of now if I go into neurosci, I'm hoping to go into neuropsychology (preferably pediatrics). In my career, a priority of mine is also work life balance.

In terms of courses, I LOVE biology and chemistry, but not so much physics and struggle in calc (80s), so that is def my biggest concern. As for physics, I just had a horrible experience in gr 11 (bad teacher + didn't know how to study), so I ended up not taking it this year but I think i might like it based on my friends experience. GPA is my fear with Western Med sci especially since its known for its weed out reputation. Please let me know what you think.

Hi guys, I recently got into biological sciences and neuroscience at guelph and I'm having a hard time deciding on which major to go into. I really like the courses for neurosci, but I'm scared it'll box me in if that makes sense. I don't want to have to get a PHD before career but I am willing to do masters. I also know that I want to work in healthcare- especially in a job that helps people, but also has good pay and somewhat good work life balance. For that reason I dont think I wanna do med school, but I want to keep that option open to be safe.

Taking this into consideration, which program do you think would be better for me in undergrad? Thank you!
