TTC after loss

I experienced a second trimester pregnancy loss with my triplet girls at 19 weeks on 3/31/2026 due to PROMM.

I am having a surgery this week to remove some scar tissue and leftover placenta in my uterus. After I’m healed from this, my husband and I can start Letrozole/ trigger injection treatments followed by scheduled intercourse to hopefully conceive again. We were very lucky to have had our first treatment work when we conceived the girls.

I am wondering if anyone has been through something similar? I’m worried the treatment might not work as well since my body has been through so much in comparison to the first time. I realize this is my anxiety talking, but any words of advice or comfort would be appreciated!!

I lost triplets at 19 weeks, 2 days about a month ago. The triplets included a set of identicals and one fraternal twin who had her own sac/ placenta. The fraternal twin’s water broke and it was too late for any interventions and I developed an infection which resulted in premature labor. I ended up getting a D and E. My biggest regret is not requesting testing of the babies and placentas. My doctor could not give me any other reasons why this happened other than having a high risk triplet pregnancy.

My partner and I were able to get pregnant using letrozole and a trigger shot on the first try. I have PCOS and cannot ovulate on my own.

We would like to try again at some point but I’m terrified of going through all this again. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Just looking for some support and hope that we can eventually have a successful pregnancy at some point despite this happening to us.

Thanks!!
