My boyfriend talks about how beautiful my mom is
I’m 18 and my boyfriend is 19. He says this about her sometimes, especially when he sees her (not to her directly but to me in private conversations). I don’t really mind him saying this (my mom is definitely really beautiful) and he hasn’t really been disrespectful about it or anything. My friend said she thinks that’s weird though and that it’s strange that I’m okay with it. It’s not like he’s talking about her in a derogatory sexual type of way though (which would definitely bother me obviously). Would it be weird to you or bother you? I guess in my mind it’s not like it’s wrong for him to find others beautiful/attractive ofc, and it’s my mom so it’s not just some random girl that he’s saying this to me about. I just was taking it in a positive way because he says I look a lot like my mom and ik that he loves me and thinks that I’m beautiful too.
