I would like to become a GM but it’s seems and feels very daunting.

I’ve started a campaign with one other person but it wasn’t all that fun cause it was just us two and we were both somewhat new to the system. And on top of that I think I did too much prep.

I’m currently in a game as a player and I’m having a lot of fun.

What I struggle with is coming up with puzzles or non-combat scenarios. I’m pretty confident that I can make combat somewhat interesting but it’s the story, the characters, and again any non-combat related stuff that I struggle with. Any tips?

Am I "ready" to move on? What's the next step?

I really want to learn character design and I'm aware that I need to practice drawing the human body. I started off with gesture drawing for a couple of weeks now. What would be the next best thing to practice based on my drawings? Do I need more practice with this specifically? Also I'm not sure if I skipped some vital/crucial fundamentals before doing gesture drawing.

Is it possible to implement Cursed Energy from Jujutsu Kaisen in MnM?

Players and NPCs would get their cursed techniques and such however I’m not sure how to add the whole “pool of cursed energy”. I was thinking maybe giving everyone a variable effect of 20 points or whatever and for each round in combat they can allocate points into reinforcing their CE for defense or offense. Mostly being their toughness as far as defense goes. They could add it to their damage effects and utility such as leaping or speed.

For a “black flash”, I was going to make it so that every time a player/NPC lands a nat 20 for their to-hit, the rank of the attack increases by 2 just for the damage. Also the crit range to hit another black flash or nat 20 is reduced by 2 each time but for a maximum of 16 to replicate that the attacker is highly focused.

I have other ideas for how to implement things like domain expansions and such if someone would like to discuss this further or help me flesh it out.
