Should I let mucus run its course?

My baby has mucus in his poop. Sometimes it is green but those are more the fart/small poops.

Sometimes it’s just the stringy mixed in but a few times he has had globs.

I’ve cut out dairy and don’t notice a difference. Should I cut out eggs, soy, etc… or just let the gut mature. He gains weight well and isn’t too fussy. Just on occasion he has a good cry, mainly overtired I assume.

What are your thoughts? Please help.

When did you reintroduce dairy?

Baby had very mind symptoms. Just gassy (could be normal newborn stuff) and mucus in some stools - I’m cutting dairy for now and he is 8 weeks.

My last baby definitely had the same poops but I didn’t know any better I guess.

When did you reintroduce dairy for a mild sensitivity (if that)??

Please help! Had a piece of cheese and this happened..

Tried cutting dairy for a few days… maybe baby was less fussy? Idk. He has some mucus poops now and then. I decided to have cheese and the next morning had several mucus sharts and then this big poo. Ped said to cut out dairy until he is 6 months based on photos and some reflux issues (gassing, choking, etc). He does still click a lot due to my letdown. Do you agree? Should I cut out dairy. He’s never had blood.

Coincidence?

My son hasn’t had a witching hour the past two nights and I haven’t had dairy either. He is 7 weeks today. Is it a coincidence?

I can NOT tell if he has dairy intolerance. He is fussier than my other son but nothing crazy. Does have night time witching hours.

No eczema, rarely spits up and if he does it’s minimal.

Stuffy in morning, sneezes, sometimes hiccups but they’ve been fading. He has woke up gagging a few times in the 7 weeks after big feeds with no burps.

Poops (or sharts) pretty often (almost every feed) but they’ve also minimized the last few weeks.

DOES click when nursing but LC said it’s my letdown. But can also nurse without clicking too. Better at night in laying down position.

Gassy and grunting from around 4-7 am.

Prefers being held but will sleep in bed with my and cosleep.

Gains weight like a madman - a pound a week.

Does have some mucus poops and occasionally a green shart. Pediatrician wasn’t concerned and said it’s normal. NEVER blood.

What do you think and what are your experiences? Is this just a normal baby and I’m overthinking?

Additional:
I’ve felt gassy myself since having a baby but I’m wondering, could I all of a sudden be sensitive to dairy or is it my electrolytes?!

EBF 7 week old going long without feeding

My EFB has been not wanting to feed every 3 hours. He is usually really good about eating and has always been very good at breastfeeding. He was born at 8 lbs and over the almost 7 weeks (Friday) he will have gain 6 lbs. 14 lbs now.
However the past 2 days he has been not wanting to feed at the 3 hr mark. He will scream upset. I’ve assumed he has mild reflux due to stuffiness, some gagging and some choking.
I don’t wait for hunger cues because I try every 3 hours. Is it common for an almost 7 week old to want to go 4 hours between feeds during the day?

Normal?

Not our usual poops but has this last night. Almost 7 weeks. He is gassy mostly from 4-7 am. I have a strong letdown, he sometimes chokes but it’s stopped happening as much. He does click sometimes too.

Is this normal newborn poop?

Baby is 6 weeks old. His poop looks pretty similar to this often. He is a gassier baby when lying down flat on back since he was a newborn but is happy when lying on chest. He doesn’t cry much just about 15 minutes for a witching hour at night before bed. He sleeps very well when being held (2-3 hour naps). Gaining weight well, 92 percentile (about a pound a week per our last pediatrician apt)
At night when I try to lay him down, he gets grunty and pushes out farts. Sometimes whines. If I pick him up, happy as a clam.

He has started clicking starting around 4 weeks but it isn’t every feed, lactation consultant thinks it is due to my fast letdown which will subside as he gets bigger. I assume this isn’t helpful for the extra air swallowing.

I question CMPA due to the mucus and grunting. Again lactation consultant said it’s normal newborn poop and not to worry. Never have seen blood. Baby is stuffy while laying on back. Possibility of mild newborn reflux I assume. Rarely spits up.

I don’t know whether to test dairy free since most say this is peak fussiness and babies grow out of it in the next few weeks. I don’t want to eliminate dairy and it just naturally go away on its own and me be confused to what helped.

What are other parents thoughts??? TIA
