A woman in my city was recently attacked on a very popular trail in broad daylight (she survived, he was caught). But now it's got me questioning my safety on runs, I already run with pepper spray but considered getting a gun because I'm tired of feeling scared/on edge.

What protection do you carry / what do you do to feel safe on runs? (at night or during the day because apparently it doesn't matter)

Does anyone know if any bars or venues are having Love Island watch parties? I know some places have in the past but I haven't seen anything about this season.
