Any feedback on how to improve my picking to be more clean and fast, especially 8th triplets and 16ths?

I've been working on picking at an angle, anchoring my wrist to the bridge area, trying to not pick outwards/peck the strings, and trying different fretting hand angles, although not sure if I'm actually doing any of that right.

This song is 130 bpm and it is a stretchhhhhhh to say I can play it at 80% speed before I start missing strings or having my hands go out of sync to produce a muted mess.

I refuse to give up on this song. but I do think after a month of trying this one song, that I have lost the plot and fundamentally don't understand picking (𖦹﹏𖦹;)
