Did you get any minor injury at the beginning of your training?
Hi all, I am wondering if what I am experiencing is common to other people.
I started running in January, and so training for it, and being 40 I try to be conservative to avoid injuries. I've been doing some trail runs recently, I go every Sunday morning for a long run, trying to stay in Zone 2 to avoid being too tired the next days. Lately I started to feel some mild stifness in my right hip, around the femor head area, but only after I run about 15km. It seems I'm fine but after 15km I can feel that something is off. Usually this feeling goes away soon after I finished my run, and it isn't painful, only a bit fastidious. I'm not asking you guys to give me a diagnosis, if it worsens I'll go to a doctor, but I'm curios on wether this can be caused by tissue adaptation to these new trail runs. Do you guys have experienced something similar when you started training for running? like some part of your body was undertrained and was keeping you down.
Thank you all
