Feeling very emotional but I understand that it has to be done. Question for yall on insulin. Did yall do an insulin education class? How helpful was it? We are self pay and things keep adding up so im wondering if i really need this. The nurse sounded offended over the phone when i questioned it.

I take my fasting number as soon as I wake up but notice that sometimes my numbers go above the 95 before I wake up and right after i log the fasting data. Should I be concerned??
Also, if I eat something and within 20 minutes get a spike above 140 but by the time I log my 1 hour and 2 hours is fine. Is this normal?
I just want to make sure that I don’t silently have higher numbers than I should.
Im so tired of so many things in our field. Im not sure I can be a BCBA for much longer. This feeling comes and goes for me but lately it’s getting more intense.
I dislike that in the last couple of years every new company I go, seems worse. Like way worse ethically. Nobody is trained in behavior management, no RBT training at all, RBTs that don’t track their supervision and lately an influx of RBTs that very clearly just need a job.
BCBAs just wanting to be remote and leaving the in person BCBAs to deal with behavior management and all other day to day issues.
Im so tired of training and retraining. At my current company this has been going on for months. I feel like I cant do my job well due to inconsistency out of my control.

I am looking for a venue that can hold 100 guests. The problem is I don’t want to spend a lot of money on it. Im not trying to have this event at my house. Any hidden gems in the area or recommendations like parks/clubhouses etc. ??

The invite said black tie optional and this will be a summer wedding in the south. I am short so this dress will most likely hit the floor for me. Also, I am pregnant and having a hard time finding dresses that are accommodating.
Hey all, I recently found out that I am pregnant and started a new job all in the same week. They are still building my caseload but within 2 weeks I should be full. The problem is I’m in the first trimester and feel like shit. I don’t have typical pregnancy symptoms like nausea and vomiting. However, I have a lot of fatigue and this week honestly I didn’t want anything to do with work. I still went and did my job. I don’t know if I am going to be able to sustain this. People say they feel better in the second trimester but what do I do in the meantime. My company does not know Im pregnant.
