New stuff! Forever Young haul and last DAC
I kept seeing this kit from Forever Young advertised on instagram, so I had to buy it 😅the cat reminds me of my recently departed maine coon... So I won't do it for a while but I'm glad I bought it. Also bought some mini gems kits.
The reason I say my last DAC is that I am rather unsatisfied with hearing the feedback people have been sharing and I also have my own impressions. I am currently doing a DAC piece and I really don't rate the quality for the price. In some drill bags I'm finding as many trash drills as a more budget friendly kit. It's annoying as I really expected better. I guess I just need to wait until I finish to see the effect as the drills do seem a different shape to reflect the sparkle better. Even so, it doesn't seem worth it to put more money into this when it's also irritating me with their FOMO marketing. The Hanami kit I got sold out not long after I bought it, yet it has taken 2 months to arrive. That is ridiculous. They should have these ready to ship if they are "selling out" so fast. I guess they have a number cap that they want to print on a run and once that's reached thats it...
Anyway, overall I am happy on my DP journey and excited for all kits I have in my collection. Waiting for a shipment of two kits from Jaded Gems and that's it. Maybe. 😅 I have seen mixed feedback on Jaded Gems but I am in no rush for the kits, so long as they arrive eventually.
