Where are ALL the full crystal square-drill kits hiding?! 💎

Okay, I think I have a problem… I’m officially obsessed with full crystal canvas kits with square crystal/rhinestone drills.

I’ve done 2 kits from Forever Young and I absolutely LOVE them, but I’m having the hardest time finding other companies that make this style — especially with square drills and good-quality canvases.

I’m looking for kits where the entire canvas is crystal/rhinestone drills, not just special drills sprinkled throughout.

If you know of a company that makes these, PLEASE drop the name below! Bonus points if you have a specific kit you like. I’d love to see them!

Learning Diamond art for the 2027 Drill Challenge

I want to learn how to do Diamond Art so I can join in on the #MegaDrillChallenge27 hosted by Queen Mother Confetti. Since the submission has to be at least 200 cm, I needed to know the difference in using cheap Amazon brands vs. Diamond Art Club. These are comparably sized square drill kits that just arrived. Just the packaging (or in Amazon's case, the lack of) shows me who I'll probably be going with if I want the diamonds to line up and stay on, but we'll see.

First diamond painting! Should I seal it?

This is my first ever diamond painting and I’m already so obsessed.

Got it framed and removed the plexiglass that came with the frame.

Should I seal the painting or something? It’s meant to hang in a bathroom so I’m worried about moisture damage or anything.

That’s a little suspicious

This is the first time I’ve opened a kit with a disclaimer printed on the border. I guess I’ll level set my expectations accordingly going forward when I dig into this one.

Day 9 complete

What started as a canvas I waited two years for, turned into a gift for my special mom. She’s absolutely stunning in person.

These haunted houses sure are something

I don’t hate it so far! But I also don’t love it. Mainly bc I’m forced to single place every drill since most of the drill fields aren’t evenly spaced. I haven’t used my vacuum pen in a while, so I guess it’s nice I’m getting some use out of it again. It’s also nice to have a little reprieve from the standard canvas and do something unconventional with the craft.

I’m curious tho: If you’ve completed this, how difficult was it to assemble? And does it stay sturdy? lol

Bonus question: Did you seal it? (The glue seems pretty thick so idk if I need to)

My BeadBlitz Review

I bought the BeatBlitz from the PipCraft website on pre-order on July 28th and received it yesterday, August 18th. I played around with it this morning for about half an hour on an random Amazon painting and here are my thoughts:

Size: It is considerably smaller than I expected and I am not seeing any dimensions listed on the website, but possibly my bad for not looking at the images closer. I have mild arthritis in my fingers which makes it a little difficult to hold, but overall it is not that huge of a deal to me personally and I made it work. I could possibly have trouble if I tried to use it for a longer period. It is extremely light which is good.

Loading: Fairly straight forward, use the included tray, collapse the pen down into the loading position, and start picking up diamonds. Sometimes if you line it up wrong a diamond will go flying, but for the most part it indeed held all 20 diamonds well.

Diamond placement: Since the opening of the pen is slightly larger than the diamonds (obviously nothing can be done about that) I struggled getting the diamonds close together and straight as I placed them, but even with having to clean up the row at the end I found it made placing the diamonds faster overall and it was not something that deterred me from using it. Sometimes a diamond would go sidways at the opening and needed to be straightened. There were some reports of diamonds falling out of the pen as you got to the last few, but I only experienced that happening once and I just placed those three with tweezers.

Useability: I followed all of the directions exactly and overall had a good experience. Make sure you are holding the pen correctly, the wings serve a purpose, and that you press down very firmly when placing.

Ironing out creases

I just got my newest canvas and there is a giant crease on it. What advice would you give.

Im afraid of melting it or messing up the cover plastic and adhesive.

DAC

I know everyone has mixed feelings about Diamond Art club but I really wish they would listen to the people.

I wish they would limit the amount of kits one person can buy. — I swear this one seller on Mercari brought all the 127 mystery kits. One kit would sell out and then another one would be posted. That’s just not fair.

I wish they would just restock more frequently, and if a kit is highly requested or sought for, buy it in large quantity. why are they restocking ugly ass kits that obviously no one is buying. So now you have a bunch of kits that nobody wants. (Look at the new releases still in stock compared to the chrissabug one or the moonbound).

Stop promoting artists who obviously use AI. I know I will get hate but Peggy Collins artwork is obviously AI and it’s ugly no disrespect to the people who like it. Just not my cup of tea.

If you could recommend DAC something, What would it be?

Disappointed

This is my 3rd kit from a Chinese seller but I couldn’t be more disappointed. I almost ran out of the turquoise and I have completely ran out of one of the colors and I still have quite a bit left. I also have so many extra of other colors. Really disappointed. Hopefully I can buy more on Amazon since I have a bit left of a gift card. Now I’m going to give that seller a bad review on AliExpress
