Re-discovering wool sweaters
Mom owned a knitting shop when I was a kid, and she dressed me in woolen sweaters every day of the week. Once I could dress myself I rebelled, and I've been wearing nothing but hoodies for decades. Well, I'm now going through that cliche mid-life-trying-dress-better crisis. The pendulum is swinging back. So I bought a STACK of second-hand knits: crewnecks and cardigans, shetlands, lambswools, a few cashmeres, shirts, all 100% wool. Trying to make mom proud before she kicks off to the great wool store beyond. How am I doing? How can I diversify? This sub has been helpful for me in starting to build a new grown up wardrobe - so thank you!
