Richmond area private golf club recommendations for young adults
Looking to become a member at a golf club in the Richmond area and wanted to get some opinions from people familiar with the local scene. I’m a 24 yo male
and mainly focused on golf, but good food/drinks and an active membership base around my age would definitely be a plus.
Right now I’ve mainly been looking at The Dominion Club, Stonehenge Golf & Country Club, Jefferson Lakeside Country Club, and Richmond Country Club.
Trying to stay anywhere from Midlothian to Short Pump. For those who have played or been members around Richmond, which club do you think offers the best overall experience for someone my age? Mostly care about:
Strong golf culture / games
Good course conditions
Younger membership presence
Decent restaurant/bar atmosphere
Overall value for the money
Also curious what I should realistically expect to pay for a young adult membership:
Initiation fees
Monthly dues
Food minimums/cart fees/etc.
