I wish this were made up but it’s not. We’re in the last 10 minutes of the fourth and final day of a project. A student who has done 0 work during the previous 230 minutes of class time finally starts working on their project. I observe (and take screenshots for proof) this student using ChatGPT to create the contents of their project. Student is informed that they will not receive credit for their project and need to redo it in order to earn credit (I was kind enough to not even do a write up cause that’s a whole other thing). Said student has now approached/ambushed me 3 times since they were caught cheating and continually made the following argument: “Other people did it too!”

Our toddler has always been a terrible sleeper. We struggled through CIO and it ultimately worked. But in the past month or so, he’s been refusing to go to sleep. Wants more books, more songs, more hugs and kisses, etc. Throws major tantrums the second that the lights go off in his bedroom. Tonight has been one of the worst nights in a long time. He’s been crying/screaming on and off for the past hour+. Anyone go through anything like this and have any sage advice?
