AIO - Comment from GF
(28M)My gf (28F) and I were on the phone talking about some things prior to going to bed (I work away) and we were talking about friends of ours (another couple) and they're having issues with some things in their relationship. Gf mad at the Bf for certain behaviors to say the least, anywho, she said that "Jane (fake name) is so in love with John (fake name) and is annoyed with his behaviors but she would never leave him because she loves him so much" then she carried on a bit more and proceeded to say that "If it were our relationship she would just break up and get on with it and that she's independent and would get on with her life."
I didn't really say much in response and the call carried on. After the call ended I pondered about it for a bit and thought it was a bit of a shit thing to say, I would never say anything like that nor do I really think like that.... Anywho, figured I would take to reddit to see if I'm overreacting/ overthinking it or should address it.
