Has anyone else noticed a bigger difference from an air purifier than they expected?

I was super skeptical about air purifiers for a long time. I assumed they were one of those products that sounded useful but didn't make a noticeable difference in everyday life; or make a significant difference towards your health unless there was strong factors as to why you would use one.

A few weeks ago, I decided to try one because of dust, pet hair, and occasional cooking odors in our apartment and I noticed our neighbor had standing water next door which made me worry about mold spores. I wasn't expecting much, but I've noticed that the room feels fresher, there's less dust settling on surfaces, and even the air seems less stuffy when I wake up in the morning. On top of that my dogs allergies have cleared up drastically, and his nose has a lot more moisture when that’s something he’s struggled with his whole life.

I'm curious if others have had a similar experience. Did an air purifier make a noticeable difference for you, or do you think the benefits are mostly overhyped?

Also, for those who use one regularly, where have you found that it works best, bedroom, living room, kitchen, or office space?

Turns out a dehumidifier works inside a car too

I live im Washington state so it’s pretty much my fault for leaving my windows open.

However a rainstorm soaked my car’s carpet. After vacuuming up the water, I ran a dehumidifier inside the closed car for a few days.

The carpet dried out, the smell disappeared, and the windows stopped fogging completely.

Anyone else used a dehumidifier for something other than your RV, bathroom or basement?

I had never thought I could get one to work in my vehicle. But before you call someone to pay for a professionals help with a rain soaked vehicle, try this method.
