Chikyu Taisen 2053 will be a serialization that begins in winter 2026. The chapter released today is just a prologue.
The series starts off as a direct sequel to Violence Jack - Sengoku Majinden. The issue 週刊漫画ゴラク 7/17号 is 80% off the normal price, so it's super cheap, so I'd encourage anyone interested in buying a copy to do so.
Short summary: >!After going over the ending events of VJ - Sengoku Majinden, the story jumps to modern-day Earth (2053, maybe?) where a drone attack is happening, followed by an attack by "Machine Demons". Luckily, the Getter team arrives at the scene in the fresh "Getter Robo X". They defeat the first wave of demons, but from a portal in the sky, more emerge. The scene jumps to "Megalopolis TOKYO: Ministry of Military Affairs", where we're told that "Steel War Demon Jeeg" (Koutetsu Senki Jeeg) is on his way to the scene (not shown) and that "Kabuto Research Institute" has completed a new super robot. The scene jumps to the said institute, where we meet Colonel Kabuto Koichi, Lieutenant Yumi Saori, and Kabuto Yuzo, who looks identical to Doctor Hell. With this hellish connection, he can introduce his latest creation: Super Demon God, Mazinger Z. To be continued later this year.!<
