Started out just getting a blower and a string trimmer and ended up here. Glad my wife is ok with me buying stuff. Even if she wasn’t I would still end up where I am going all in on Ego.
In near future likely will replace my Ryobi hedge trimmer and need some kind of shop vac.
Ran out of gas for my backpack blower and weedeater and thought I did not want to continue to go to get gas (own EVs already) so decided to research battery powered lawn tools and landed on Ego.
Purchase a STX4500 trimmer and a LB8803-2 blower. Figured I'd first give those 2 a shot to see how they performed. Color me IMPRESSED!!!
Able to edge my entire lawn with the 2.5 with battery remaining and right at a full 5.0 battery on the blower.
A plus to this will be now my kids will have to also begin mowing the lawn since it will be so simple to just adding a battery and pressing a button.
Next up I will have to decide on which mower I am going to replace mu Toro with. Definitely will be an Ego.
Why did I wait so long?!?
