BOSE A30s Dry/Itchy/Sore

I'm a 12-year professional pilot, flying for 17 years. I have used my 'old' David Clark Headsets (Twin plugs) on both the Airbus and a Business Jet for years without issues. The green shell eventually cracked and I finally succumbed to 'treating' myself for a pair of A30s.

Ive had them for a few months now, I work 5-6 days a time then have 5 days off. Towards the end of the 5 days flying my ears are dry, red, sore, itchy, leaking yellowness. my days off my ears recover, going back to work it then happens. It eventually dawned on me that it most likely be the A30 headphone cups.

I've tried researching, and a deleted Reddit post from last year posted this on the r/flying forum, implying I'm not the only one

I love Bose aviation headsets. And I’m a cfi so fly a lot. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know why I’m experiencing this or what I can do to fix it? I’m guessing it’s an allergic reaction. But I don’t know. Could it be some sort of protectant on the leather that will ware off? Is it this specific pair causing the problem? What should I do!? Thank you."

I am wondering if anyone else has had such an issue?

I've bought a Chanel Premiere watch originally from Goldsmiths to celebrate my other half's qualification, but little did I know that the size has a non-adjustable watch strap and on the Goldsmiths website it doesnt imply different sizes are available (with the brand, not with Goldsmiths themselves).

So I'm undergoing a return with the jeweller, and reversing the 0% finance that was available, and looks like I'll be buying directly from Chanel on their website, where the different size is available.

I have the BA AMEX free card, but wondering if I would get any benefit from the AMEX platinum or somewhere else. On paper, the £400 food credit and hotel points might be worthwhile (current Hilton Diamond and Marriott Gold) - but would that benefit the £650 fee?

Appreciate any thoughts!
