Has anyone had this happen before? I placed an NG tube for a coworker (medic) bc they cant under the hospital scope. The patients daughter was in the room in scrubs. (Didnt ask if she was a nurse bc frankly idc). NG tube went in like butter got the xray it was fine. Next day my charge nurse pulls me aside and asks if I placed it. Im freaking out thinking it was so messed up or something crazy. No, the daughter told her mom (pt wife) that she places the ng bc I couldnt get it. Wife is on the phone furious. Thankfully I had a coworker in the room with me but wtaf?? Can they do anything now? I didnt do anything wrong but its just upsetting for someone whos a nurse (found out shes an lpn) to just make something up.

Almost 7 months in and this baby does not sleep. It’s 4:20 am hes been up for an hour wont sleep. Every night. I cant do this anymore. I work full time have daycare and I still hate it. Everyone says it gets better and all its done is get worse.

Hello! I just have a question from anyone who might have experience in this. I have a full time hospital job right now $34/hr w benefits all that jazz. I applied for a prn position for home infusion but it is independent contractor. It is $47/hr and you pick up as much or as little as needed but taxes are 1099. I have never done that before and wanted to see if anyone else has and if it is worth it so I dont screw myself over on tax season. (Again..I used to be a server and never put money back but learned from my mistakes)
