Looking for advice, UBC or Western Ontario? Which is better for nursing?
I got admitted into my dream schools (I’m so grateful!) but I’m not sure which is the better path for me. Nobody around me is a nurse or is pursing it so I feel a bit lost.
UBC nursing requires me to study in the Okanagan (not main campus) for 2 years then to transfer to the main campus, so I’m a little hesitant. On the other hand, Western is in Ontario which is very far away and will cost more… I’m not sure which campus is better for me and my future or which program will set me up for success.
Also, I want to work in the states after uni for a couple years, when I come back will I only be able to work in the area I went to university in? ex) If I went to Western will I only be able to work in Ontario or will I be able to find work in BC?
Please leave any advice you have :)
