Been transcribing a ton of Melvin Sparks. Does anyone know what shapes he is using in this solo? It appears like a 9th shape but what’s all the stuff in between. There’s a nice run up later in the vid where he displays all the shapes moving up the neck.

Is it shell chords….is it stacking fourths with quartal melody?

Been transcribing alot of Melvin Sparks….trying to find out what he’s doing here. Is he playing she’ll voicings here? If so, can anyone identify the shapes?
